亨利·赫茲利特（英語：Henry Hazlitt，1894年11月28日—1993年7月8日）是自由意志主義哲學家、經濟學家，也曾擔任《华尔街日报》、《纽约时报》等報刊的記者。

生平

生於一個貧窮的家庭，他的父親在他還是嬰兒時便去世了，他在免學費的紐約市立學院就讀了一年半後便中途退學，成為一名記者，並於21歲時完成第一本書Thinking as a Science。奧地利經濟學派之所以能在英語國家發展，很大一部分是他的功勞。赫茲利特著作相當豐富，一生中寫下了25本書。

赫茲利特最知名的著作是Economics in One Lesson一書，簡單闡述了奧地利經濟學派的主要理論。但他也在其他領域如倫理學有許多著作，主要包括了The Foundations of Morality，他在The Failure of the New Economics一書中大力抨擊凯恩斯的理論，一個段落接著一個段落的批評通論一書（赫茲利特寫道，在這本書中「沒有任何一個理論是真實而原創的。書中原創的理論沒有一個是真的，而書中真的理論沒有一個是原創的」）。

在1940年代和1950年代早期，赫茲利特還曾經與艾茵·兰德的客觀主義哲學運動有所牽連。

赫茲利特對於自由意志主義和客觀主義的發展都有極大貢獻，在他資助下路德維希·馮·米塞斯才得以獲得在紐約大學的教授職位（當時米塞斯剛流亡美國），也是他讓艾茵·兰德接觸到自由市場的經濟理論。在1997年至2002年間有一個名為亨利·赫茲利特基金會的組織創建以紀念他。
