被動

並非都是單純把主動的人稱詞尾改成被動就好了,在直述語氣未來式第二人稱以及虛擬完成式等等的規則不太一樣。Yel D'ohan (留言) 2009年6月14日 (日) 11:09 (UTC)[回复]

法语没有重音吗?

法语没有重音吗?好象有吧!英文版中的那句话不知道有没有翻译错误。Samuel 2003年6月28日 14:14 (UTC)

My Mozilla crashed just when I've finished typing my reply. And I don't want to re-type it all again, because I type in Chinese three or four times slower than I do in English.
You're right that French does have heavy syllable accent. The accent is always at the last syllable.
The keyword in the English article is "distinctive" (辨別的), which means, in linguistics, "to distinguish between two words that are otherwise similarity or even identical". The distinction is made by phonetic differences obvious:
  1. Syllabic stress (又稱 accent 或 strength):
    • record (verb: 紀錄)
    • record (noun: 唱片)
      • This is impossible in French because of the immobility
      • I think there's subtle difference between "stress" and "accent". Stress may be syllabic or verbal or sentential? And accent is also on a word-level.
  2. Syllabic length:
    • been
    • bean (beeeeen)
      • Vowels that have two lengths are common in Latin and English. Some vowels have even three lengths, but that's rare. Such doesn't exist in English, Latin, German, Spanish or French. But I think may exist in Sanskrit
  3. Syllabic tone (聲調):
    • Chūmén (出門)
    • Chūmèn (出悶)
The distinction is often not obvious, however, to non-native speakers or second-language learners, at all. But it is nearly always clear to a native speaker.

can someone explain me the problem please ? because of my poor chinese, I only understood you were speaking about french. I'm a native speaker so I maybe can help you...
can something like :"eau" count as a three lengths vowel ?
Koxinga
Well, there are three vowels, and each has a length, and are those the same length? Well, probably. "Length" usually only works in the level of one vowel, and cannot be collectively counted in numbers across different vowels.
But actually, when I look at the phonetic transcription page of my dico, I see that there are some very similar vowels, perhaps can be considered as two lengths of the same vowel-type (or 2 vowels of different lengths, but are related), i.e.,
  • é & ai
    • année & aime
  • a & â
    • lac, âime
  • o & ô (au)
    • hotte, drôle (aube)
  • y & œu
    • jeu, bœuf
So I was probably wrong, and French vowels do have distinction. (The sad truth is that when I listened again and again, then again to the audio tapes on French pronunciations in language labs, I never could tell those vowels apart at all. I just could not find any audible difference. I was lucky that the listening quizzes never asked us to tell them apart, although the distinction is obviously important in have an understandable accent.)
Do you feel, as a native speaker, that those vowels are somehow related (of the same type)? Why do you or don't you think so? By a sense of familiarity to the language? (Native-speaker instinct, although lacks conscious reasons, is very important in linguistics.)
--Menchi 2003年6月29日 16:30 (UTC)
I'm not sure of what you want to say... in your examples, there is a difference ("ai" is closer to "è" than to "é") but it's difficult to explain, for me it's clear but I can't describe the two sounds... in "hotte", the 'o' "go up" when in "drôle" it doesn't. I don't know if you will understand. The difficulty is that this depends mostly of local accent. In the south west of the France, they say 'ô' like an 'o' (my cousins find funny my prononciation to say "drôle, jaune, rose")
And "âime" isn't a french word
Koxinga 2003年6月29日 19:26 (UTC)
Oops, it's "âme".
