製作

2018年5月9日，NBC預訂了《法網遊龍：特案組》第二十季[12]。7月16日開始新季製作[13]。7月12日，執行製片人茱莉亞·馬丁（英语：Julie Martin (writer)）在推特上發布了一張劇本照片，表示兩個小時連續首播集的第一個小時將暫定命名為《Man Up》[14]。8月14日，馬丁透露本季第4集《復仇》將呈現一個「精心設計、令人坐立不安的轉折」，本集中還會看到凱莉·索恩（英语：Callie Thorne）客串辯護律師尼基·斯坦斯[15]。前季中未播出的奧利維亞·本森和兒子諾亞在一起的一個情節將重新拍攝，并放在本季中播出[16]。在本季後期，將介紹即將開播的新劇《法網遊龍：仇恨犯罪》中的角色[17]。
