本作为专辑《超炫光》的第二主打单曲，于专辑发行的前两天的10月16日广播发行^[1]，并于10月22日在Itunes发行，封面来自于音乐录影带中最后的画面场景。
2013年10月18日于YOUTUBE上发表歌词音乐录影带，11月20日于YOUTUBE发表该曲的音乐录影带。
本作为凯蒂·佩芮第13首于告示牌主流四十强单曲榜登上TOP 10的单曲^[2] 。
本作在告示牌百强单曲榜中拿下第14名，中断了凯蒂·佩芮自《加州女孩》以来每支单曲都在前十名的纪录，无预期的商业失败，也催生了下一支单曲《黑马》。

本作的音乐录影带于10月时在伦敦拍摄完成^[7]，录影带内容启发自1988年的电影《危险关系》 ^[8] ，预告片段于11月14日释出，19日于MTV上首播，20日于YOUTUBE上发表。^[9]^[10]
