瑞秋·萊蘭·萊文（英語：Rachel Leland Levine；1957年10月28日—[1]），原名李察（Richard），是一名美國政治人物，美國公共衛生服務軍官團四星上將，現任美國助理衛生部長。[2][3]萊文是美國為數不多的幾個公開變性的政府官員之一，[4]也是第一個美國參議院批准上任的變性官員，[5][6]同時也是美國公共衛生服務軍官團第一位變性人四星上將。[7]

生平

萊文來自馬薩諸塞州韋克菲爾德，[8]父母梅爾文和莉蓮·萊文都是律師；[9]有一個比她大四歲的姐姐，邦尼·萊文。[9]萊文是猶太人，曾就讀於希伯來學校，[10]，並在馬薩諸塞州貝爾蒙特的貝爾蒙特山學校取得高中文憑，[11]之後就讀於哈佛大學和杜蘭大學。[12]

1988年至1993年，萊文在紐約市西奈山醫院取得獎學金並且接受了兒科培訓。[12][13]1993年，從曼哈頓搬到賓夕法尼亞州中部後，萊文加入了賓夕法尼亞州立好時醫療中心，在任期間創建了賓夕法尼亞州好時醫療中心的青少年醫學部和飲食失調診所。[12]2015年獲州長湯姆·沃爾夫提名出任賓夕法尼亞州總醫師。[4]2017年7月，取得賓夕法尼亞州參議院同意出任賓夕法尼亞州衛生部部長。[14]2020年至2021年1月，萊文主要負責應對賓夕法尼亞州的新冠病毒疫情。[13]

2021年2月13日，美國總統祖·拜登正式提名萊文出任美國助理衛生部長，[15]3月24日取得美國參議院投票通過。[16]10月19日，萊文晉升美國公共衛生服務軍官團四星上將，成為美國軍警部隊中第一位公開變性的四星軍官，同時也是美國公共衛生服務軍官團第一位女性四星上將。[17]

家庭

萊文有兩個孩子。[18]2011年完成了變性手術。[19]1988年，萊文和前妻瑪爾塔·皮斯利·萊文（Martha Peaslee Levine）結婚，[20][18]2013年離婚。[21][4]
