	鞍型豬籠草的分佈地

鞍型豬籠草（學名：Nepenthes ephippiata）是婆羅洲特有的的熱帶食蟲植物。^[2]其種加詞「ephippiata」來源於拉丁文「ephippium」，意為「鞍布」。其存在於沙勞越中部的霍斯山脈，及加里曼丹的拉亞山（Mount Raya）和勒桑山（Bukit Lesung）。^[3]產於霍斯山脈的鞍型豬籠草無產於中加里曼丹的鞍型豬籠草具有的下延葉柄。^[4]鞍型豬籠草與勞氏豬籠草（N. lowii）之間存在着密切的近緣關係。^[2]

B·H·丹瑟在其1928年的專著《荷屬東印度群島的豬籠草科植物》中描述了鞍型豬籠草，其基於一份僅有一段莖和一個花序的標本。^[1]

尚未發現鞍型豬籠草的自然雜交種。^[5]^[6]
