《黑闪电》（英语：Black Lightning）是一部于CW播出的美国电视剧，改编自由东尼·伊沙贝拉（英语：Tony Isabella）和崔佛·冯·艾登（英语：Trevor Von Eeden）创作的DC漫画同名角色。该剧由玛拉·布洛克·阿基尔（英语：Mara Brock Akil）和萨利姆·阿基尔担任节目统筹，其故事描述退休后的黑闪电重回英雄的生活及其对家庭生活的影响。

2016年9月，华纳兄弟电视公司在经历了不同发展阶段后，决定开始计划黑闪电的改编电视剧[40]。该剧由玛拉·布洛克·阿基尔（英语：Mara Brock Akil）和她的丈夫萨利姆·阿基尔担任节目统筹。他们与葛瑞格·贝兰提和其制片公司合作制作，试播集计划于FOX上播出[41]。2017年2月，FOX因播放日程过满而放弃了该剧[42]。华纳兄弟电视将该剧改由CW接手其试播集[43]。CW还选择放弃原来的试播集剧本，而重新撰写一份新的版本[44]。2017年5月10日，CW正式订下《黑闪电》一整季[45]。《黑闪电》定于2017年－2018年季度首播[6]。

萨利姆·阿基尔表示，《黑闪电》并不会遵循一周一反派（英语：Villain of the week）的模式，且也不会是按照程序性（英语：Procedural (genre)）的，因为他想“探讨角色，甚至是反派”[46]。
