卡迪斯議會

卡迪斯議會（西班牙語：Cortes de Cádiz）是指在1810年9月24日至1814年5月10日之間，西班牙攝政會議在安達魯西亞召開的制憲議會。在拿破崙戰爭期間，法國入侵並佔領西班牙，西班牙國王斐迪南七世和卡洛斯四世退位。1810年9月24日，西班牙攝政會議在大型商業中心卡迪斯召開特別國民議會，並聲稱是「擁有西班牙主權的唯一合法代表」[1][2]。實際上，卡迪斯議會宣稱擁有被拘留在法國的西班牙國王斐迪南七世的主權，但承認斐迪南七世為西班牙合法的國王。

卡迪斯議會次是作為一個整體西班牙國會舉行會議，而不像以前分為數個等級[3]。卡迪斯議會的成員代表整個西班牙帝國，除了西班牙本國外，還包括西屬美洲（英语：Spanish America）和菲律賓都督府[4]。對於當時和當今的歷史學家來說，卡迪斯議會是西班牙和西屬美洲歷史上朝向政治自由主義（法语：Libéralisme politique）和民主的重要一步。1812年，在西班牙獨立戰爭最後一年，卡迪斯議會的自由派起草並批准《西班牙憲法》。新頒布的《西班牙憲法》宣布建立君主立憲制，並廢除許多賦予某些群體特權的機構，成為西班牙和其他國家憲法的典範[5]。
