海德格尔最初的计划

此在

此在”被海德格尔用以同时指人以及人所具有的存在方式。它来自德语dasein,意思是“存在着”或“在那儿、在这儿”。海德格尔专用此词指人。他之所以用此在来谈论人,是因为人的存在与世界上其他实体的存在有着明显的不同。“此在是为存在本身而存在的存在,”海德格尔还这样解释“此在的本质在于它的生存。所以,在这个实体身上所能展现出来的各种性质,都不是某个实体现成在手的属性。这一实体看起来如此这般,它本身就是现成在手;这些性质在各种情况下总是去存在的种种可能,仅此而已。因此我们用此在并不是在表达它是什么而是它的存在。”
