Fletcher BG-2一款二戰期間由弗萊徹航空公司設計的轟炸滑翔機
發展
XBG-2(Model 16)是弗萊徹先前設計的BG-1延伸品。該機也是一款木製轟炸滑翔機，而該滑翔機又是弗萊徹基於其YCQ-1（FBT-2極其失敗的無人機版本）的無人機技術，操控XBG-2。它將由BG-1的兩個機身和外翼板組成，並由新的機翼中心部分和連接兩個垂直尾翼的水平尾翼連接，以及位於內側機翼下方的中線或右舷機身的電視整流罩鼻子。主起落架由四個主起落架支柱支撐，每個機身可容納一枚2,000磅的炸彈。[1][2]
美國陸軍航空軍於1942年4月訂購了3架XBG-2（序號42-46902/4）。[3][N 1]然而，因為BG-1差強人意的操控性能，1942年9月8日，BG-2合約未完成就被取消。[1]
