超級鸚鵡屬（學名：Polytelis）是鸚形目舊世界鸚鵡科下的一個屬。[2]該屬為亞澳鸚鵡亞科超級鸚鵡族下的一個成員，一共有三個物種4個亞種。[2][3]本屬的物種皆分佈於澳洲，是體長介於36—46公分之間的中等體型鸚鵡。[4][5]
分類學
本屬由德國鳥類學家约翰·格奥尔格·瓦格勒於1832年建立，以容納僅在澳洲有所分佈的超級鸚鵡。[6]並以腿部修長，腳踝圓滑作為其特徵。[6]其屬名Polytelis源自希臘語πολυτελής（轉寫：polutelēs，意即「奢侈的、浪費的」）。[7]

在過去，本屬鸚鵡被認為是一組在宽尾鹦鹉族下的分支。[9]在一次未有包含超級鸚鵡在內的研究認為本屬物種可能是紅翅鸚鵡屬的基幹族群並需要再一步分析。[10]但現在多個研究則認為本屬為單系群，並歸於與紅翅鸚鵡屬及國王鸚鵡屬組成的超級鸚鵡族下。[3][8]
形態特徵
超級鸚鵡屬的鳥類主體呈淺棕色到綠色之間，其翅膀及尾部較為流線型且延長，有遷徙的行為。[4][5]雌雄之間略有性別差異，幼鳥體色較為黯淡。[4]這三種鸚鵡在地理分佈上有互補的現象。[4]其中超級鸚鵡雄性上具有黃色的喉部及前額、深紅色胸帶；統治鸚鵡雄鳥帶有藍黑色和黃色；而公主鸚鵡則有淺粉紅色的喉部和淡黃綠色的翅膀。[5]
保護情況
該屬鸚鵡均受《瀕危野生動植物種國際貿易公約》所保護，並被列於附錄二內。[11]在《國際自然保護聯盟瀕危物種紅色名錄》中，除了公主鸚鵡則因預估不到1000隻的族群數量被劃為近危物種之外，其他兩種被列為無危物種，其中超級鸚鵡的族群數量仍在上升中。[12][13][14]
