软蜱科（学名：Argasidae）为真蜱目的一科节肢动物。[1] 软蜱科是三个蜱科之一。该科包含193个物种，尽管属的组成不太确定，还需要更多的研究才能使下面的属更加确定。[1]目前接受的属有Antricola属、Argas属、Nothoaspis属、Ornithodoros属和Otobius属。软蜱科有96种蜱虫，在南亚非常常见，这使南亚成为全球蜱虫生物多样性最高的地区。[2] 软蜱对干燥有抵抗力，在干旱条件下可以存活数年。
