- I removed the template as can you just simply point out where the hoax is rather than templating the entire article. I will keep an eye on the enwp fringe theory noticeboard discussion, get a consensus there on whatsoever is the hoax and how shall we improve it. Appreciate it @Icewhiz:. --Cohaf(talk) 2019年8月29日 (四) 13:35 (UTC)
- Almost the entire article on enwiki in Feb 2019 - as translated here - is a hoax. It also hardly had sources - and what sources it had, weren't citing the heavy claims. The camp was in fact a very small camp in operation between 1943 and 1944 (8,000-9,000 prisoners). Take a look at the current enwiki page which has been updated to use mainstream sources - e.g. 美国大屠杀纪念博物馆's encyclopedia of camps. Icewhiz(留言) 2019年8月29日 (四) 13:39 (UTC)
- Also - note, the hoax wasn't present on the Polish (GA), German, or Hebrew (which actually doesn't have a page, this is part of the Warsaw ghetto aftermath there) Wikipedias. A number of other Wikis (less developed articles) are also OK. The problem was limited to the English, and to pages that seem to be translated (as here) or summarized from the English. - @Icewhiz: Thank you. I concur it's likely an hoax. Clearly I did not hear those figures either when doing reading on Military history. I kept the parts that are sound, removed all the hoax portions. Thank you for bringing this to our attention at zhwp. Best Regards,--Cohaf(talk) 2019年8月29日 (四) 13:44 (UTC)
