Hello! Welcome to my page. There's usually not going to be much here, because I don't think decorating my homepage is a good use of my time. I spend the majority of my time surfing through Wikipedia pages, and try to make them better.
Although I will admit that I do have leftist leanings (e.g.: pro-socialism, pro-communist, and also pro-Chinese Communist Party, etc), I try not to let these political leanings change my objectivity. Furthermore, I also have pro-atheist leanings because of my lack of belief in any deity. I also loathe any blind belief in fringe science, pseudoscience (e.g.: alternative medicine such as traditional chinese medicine).
This is because foremost I consider myself a scientist (in training), and the most important thing regarding the scientific method is that the most important thing is to find the evidence to support any claims. Therefore I try to read resources from all sides of a particular point-of-view, and try to sift through the evidences and sources myself. I hope more would do the same rather than adhere to any one side of the story (I voice this compliant to people who are either too open minded (will believe anything they hear) or close minded (will never change their set minds) - neither are progressively helpful in today's world.
Anyways, enough rant, starting on 2010-06-21, time permit, I will begin to synchronize the content and images of articles on both the English Wikipedia site and the Chinese Wikipedia site (because I also have a command of Chinese). I hope more people with command of both languages would support me in doing so. Hopefully in the future we can have Wikipedia content synchronized across all linguistic platforms :D
