WAM 2019 Postcard: All postcards are postponed due to the postal system shut down

Since the outbreak of COVID-19, all the postcards are postponed due to the shut down of the postal system all over the world. Hope all the postcards can arrive as soon as the postal system return and please take good care.

关于这个建议，我个人更倾向于仿照网坛四巨头来创建羽坛四大天王这个条目，因为虽然林李影响力巨大，但“左林右李”这个说法并不是很常见，相应的，四大天王的称呼则在羽坛里有更高认知度。创建起条目来的话内容也会更丰富。比如早期的四大天王说法：杨阳赵剑华弗罗斯特苏迪亚托 ，到后期的四大天王说法：林丹李宗伟盖德陶菲克，“左林右李”也可以用“林李时代”为标题作为这个条目的一个章节。再到如今一超多强的时代，等以后如果新的四大天王格局形成时也可以往里面添加内容，岂不美哉。 Zfkdiyi（留言） 2020年3月27日 (五) 11:43 (UTC)

中華民國全國運動會條目中不應該將各單項詳細成績全部列入
你在中華民國全國運動會的做法造成條目太冗長，沒辦法讓讀者聚焦內容，只要專注於全運會整體發展沿革就足夠了，各單項於章節中列出，再為各單項建立獨立條目。如果你要致力於建立全部單項的紀錄，再從各單項細分至每屆賽事成績。請參考我在中華民國全國運動會羽球比賽做法，建立羽球比賽的主條目，再建立各屆比賽條目，最後再由導航模板串聯所有條目。-- 春去秋來，何見冬也，(🏸🏸🏸) 2020年5月17日 (日) 05:16 (UTC)

- @Nyu5765：無能為力，台灣體育界的運動紀錄，我看除了棒球以外都非常難找，在網路上全都是隻言片語的報導，能從體育署網站翻到第一屆全運會開始的成果報告，我都覺得是祖墳冒青煙了。我當時籌畫編寫羽球項目時幾乎已經放棄，是因為有事沒事換個搜尋方法才找到的，而且我只專精於羽球項目，若不是為了寫羽球相關條目，我手邊不會有任何相關資料，目前全國各級運動會、全民運動會我都沒有編輯計畫。-- 春去秋來，何見冬也，(🏸🏸🏸) 2020年7月26日 (日) 11:49 (UTC)

I'm currently contributing in English Wikipedia, and I want your help. Please see 世界杯羽毛球赛五个单项产生四强 中国有五人进入男女单打半决赛. People's Daily. 18 November 1990 （Chinese）. and scroll down towards the mixed doubles Semifinalists. There you can see 4 pairs. Some of them have been deciphered from Chinese to English names; namely pairings of Rudy Gunawan/Rosiana Tendean , Jan Paulsen/Gillian Gowers, Henrik Svarrer/ Gillian Clark. One pairing is named as "钟伟宝/许一敏也" here, the female player Erma Sulistianingsih is identified, but male player is not yet been deciphered. - @Zoglophie：I got a forum discussion mention "钟伟宝" partnered with "许一敏"(Minarti Timur) at 1989 Surdiman Cup's Group 1 Indonesia vs Korea. This indicates "钟伟宝" is Aryono Miranat. And I also find some news say "钟伟宝" is coach of Indonesia National Badminton Team. Wikipedia Asian Month 2020
Hi WAM organizers and participants!
Hope you are all doing well! Now is the time to sign up for Wikipedia Asian Month 2020, which will take place in this November.
For organizers:
Here are the basic guidance and regulations for organizers. Please remember to:
- use Fountain tool (you can find the usage guidance easily on meta page), or else you and your participants’ will not be able to receive the prize from WAM team.
- Add your language projects and organizer list to the meta page before October 29th, 2020.
- Inform your community members WAM 2020 is coming soon!!!
- If you want WAM team to share your event information on Facebook / twitter, or you want to share your WAM experience/ achievements on our blog, feel free to send an email to [email protected] or PM us via facebook.
If you want to hold a thematic event that is related to WAM, a.k.a. WAM sub-contest. The process is the same as the language one.
For participants:
Here are the event regulations and Q&A information. Just join us! Let’s edit articles and win the prizes!
Here are some updates from WAM team:
- Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year we hope all the Edit-a-thons are online not physical ones.
- The international postal systems are not stable enough at the moment, WAM team have decided to send all the qualified participants/ organizers extra digital postcards/ certifications. (You will still get the paper ones!)
- Our team has created a meta page so that everyone tracking the progress and the delivery status.
If you have any suggestions or thoughts, feel free to reach out the WAM team via emailing [email protected] or discuss on the meta talk page. If it’s urgent, please contact the leader directly ([email protected]).
