发行与宣传

整张专辑在2007年4月14日晚间六点的时候首先于渥太华的广播电台HOT 89.9首播。其中第一张单曲《女朋友》（Girlfriend）原定于1月29日首先发行。但由于前张单曲"Keep Holding On"在广播中的热度持续发烧，因而暂缓了日期。2月26日艾薇儿在渥太华电台HOT 89.9推出首个"Girlfriend"的影片。埃文·陶本菲德是她的吉他伴手在她的影片登场一次，已在MySpace网志确认。

艾薇儿·拉维尼已经开始了《美丽坏东西》的小型宣传之旅、进行表演。只有歌友会的会员能够进场。巡回演唱首站选在加拿大亚伯特省的卡加利，而当时只有大约200名观众。卡加利站的演出已于2007年4月2日时在CBC Network上播出，节目内容包括艾薇儿演唱美丽坏东西以及幕后花絮。
