古蜴甲龙（学名Palaeoscincus）又名古伊犁龙，意为“古代的石龙子”，是甲龙亚目恐龙的一属，状态为疑名。化石只有牙齿，发现于蒙大拿州的朱迪斯河组，地质年代为上白垩纪坎帕阶中期[1]。就像其他由约瑟夫·莱迪（Joseph Leidy）所命名的属，例如恐齿龙、强龙及糙齿龙，古蜴甲龙过去层包含许多种，但目前多被古生物学家废弃不用。在20世纪早期，古蜴甲龙曾被广泛地使用，而成为知名的恐龙之一。古蜴甲龙通常会被描绘成有类似埃德蒙顿甲龙的装甲，以及甲龙科的尾槌。
物种
许多年来，古蜴甲龙曾经有6个物种，包括：
- P. costatus：模式种，是一颗牙齿。
- 非洲古蜴甲龙（P. africanus）[2]：部份下颌，发现于南非的Kirkwood组，地质年代为晚侏罗纪提通阶至下白垩纪凡蓝今阶。目前被认为属于剑龙下目的似花君龙[3]。
- P. asper：化石只有牙齿，化石发现于加拿大艾伯塔省的恐龙公园组，地质年代为上白垩纪坎帕阶末期[4]。目前的状态为疑名，可能属于包头龙[5]。
- 宽牙古蜴甲龙（P. latus）：发现于怀俄明州的兰斯组，年代为上白垩纪麦斯特里希特阶末期[6]，也是只有一颗牙齿，目前被认为属于厚头龙下目[5]。
- P. magoder：无资格名称，只曾在一个动物群列表中出现[5][7]。
- 粗齿古蜴甲龙（P. rugosidens）：最广为人知，包含一个头颅骨及部份骨骼，发现于蒙大拿州的双麦迪逊组，年代为坎帕阶末期[8]。目前被重新命名为粗齿埃德蒙顿甲龙（Edmontonia rugosidens）[5]。古蜴甲龙的重建，多是根据此种而描绘的。
分类
古伊犁龙目前被认为是甲龙亚目的分类未定属[9][10]，或可能是结节龙科的分类未定属[3][5][11]。
