As you can see in my contributions I'm a friend of cats, but I also like camels a lot.
If you want to contact me, fastest way is using my German discussion page, but for meta-affairs I prefer the page here. I can read and speak German, English, French and somehow manage Latin, Greek and Arabic. First three languages prefered.
Thoughts
I'm a big fan of Multilingualism and believe that connections between the different Wikimedia projects should be as close as possible. However, I think English is needed as a working language for Meta-Wiki to manage wikimedia efficiently. We don't have enough people willing to update all the pages in different languages simultaneously. Therefore I favour the use of English abstracts on pages in other languages instead of creating never complete separate translation pages.
