布紋螺科（Colubrariidae），又名草人螺科[1]:50，是一個新腹足目中的科，其中的動物全部是海生的小型到中型的螺。它們生活在熱帶和溫帶海域。至今為止所知的所有這個科里的動物寄生在魚的身上吸血為生。
特徵
布紋螺科的螺很堅固，大多為長椎形，可達5厘米。在整個螺體上有一個凸起的部分。螺體上的紋路沿螺旋和軸線交叉呈網狀。螺的開口卵狀，比較小。螺蓋有一個核。
布紋螺科動物的齒舌很小或者完全沒有。食道的中部很長有腺。胃很簡單，只是一個袋子，說明它們只用液體食物。
生活方式和分佈
布紋螺科動物生活在熱帶和溫帶海洋里。至今為止已知的是它們在魚休息的時候用可以伸長到比它們的身體還要長的吸管吸取魚的血。這個生活方式首先是在寄生在鸚哥魚上的Colubraria obscura發現的。後來發現其它種也在鸚哥魚上寄生，並有照片為證。此外還發現有些魚明顯被麻痹，因此估計這些螺可以產生麻醉劑，此外估計它們還可以生產抗凝劑來幫助它們吸血。

布紋螺科是峨螺超科（Buccinoidea）的六個科之一，它分三個屬：
