彼得·達馬托（Peter D'Amato）為美國作家、食蟲植物商人。其為坐落於塞瓦斯托波爾的加州食蟲植物苗圃的所有者。1998年，他出版了關於食蟲植物種植的書籍——《野性花園》。[1][2][3][4][5][6]1999年，該書獲得了美國園藝協會圖書獎及美國園藝作家協會的毛筆·鏟子獎。[7]
學歷
1972年，彼得·達馬托畢業於新澤西州的一所高中。1972年至1974年，他在佛羅里達州邁阿密大學讀大學。
事業
彼得·達馬托在40年間種植了大量食蟲植物。1989年，他開辦了加州食蟲植物苗圃（California Carnivores plant nursery）。彼得·達馬托也是海灣地區食蟲植物協會（Bay Area Carnivorous Plant Society ）的創始人之一。他也常在國際食蟲植物協會的《食蟲植物通訊》上發表論文。[8]
