海南鼯鼠（學名：Petaurista hainana）也稱巨鼯鼠、飛狸，一種分佈於中國海南島的齧齒動物，隸屬於松鼠科鼯鼠族（中國大陸學術界一般視為鼯鼠科）鼯鼠屬。
分類地位
本種曾被視為棕鼯鼠（Petaurista petaurista）的一個亞種，[1][2]也有學者將其歸入霜背大鼯鼠（Petaurista philippensis）。[3]中國學者根據體形大小、毛色及顱骨特徵等，認為應保留其獨立物種地位。[4][5]
形態特徵
海南鼯鼠體長37～45厘米，尾比體長。頭部為黑色或暗褐色，身體背部呈橙褐黑色，腹部灰白色。前臂和皮翼大部分為黑褐色或栗色。[4]
