舞蹈研究

舞蹈研究（英語：dance research）是對舞蹈的研究，包括舞蹈史、民族舞蹈學、舞蹈理論、舞蹈人類學和舞蹈科學。

舞蹈研究學科的誕生並不久遠。 1967年，《CORD舞蹈研究年刊》第一卷寫道：「…舞蹈研究中最嚴重的問題之一是研究該領域的文人還不是大學生」。

舞蹈科學是對舞蹈和舞者的科學研究，致力於科學原理在舞蹈中的實際應用，類似於體育科學。其目標是提高表現、減少傷害以及改善福祉和健康。
