大孢子科（Gigasporaceae）是多孢囊霉目下的其中一个属，该真菌能在植物的根中形成丛枝状体[2]，是一种丛枝菌根菌，目前共分成有8属:葱状囊霉属 Bulbospora、盾孢囊霉属( Cetraspora)、齿盾囊霉属( Dentiscutata)、大孢子属( Gigaspora)、内饰孢囊霉属 (Intraornatospora)、类齿盾囊霉属 (Paradentiscutata)、裂盾囊霉属 (Racocetra)、盾巨孢囊霉属 (Scutellospora)。[3]
