2017年5月22日，美國歌手亞莉安娜·格蘭德在英國曼徹斯特競技場舉行演唱會；演唱會臨近尾聲，當地時間22:33分發生爆炸，致使23人死亡119人傷。[5][6]

過程

當晚22點33分[7]，亞莉安娜的「危險尤物」巡迴演唱會（英語：Dangerous Woman Tour）臨近尾聲，散場過程中體育場大堂（英語：Lobby (room)）區域發生爆炸[8][9]。現場觀眾多達21000人，事發時大批人士正在離開體育場，聚集在大堂購買紀念品[10][11]。大曼徹斯特警察（英語：Greater Manchester Police）宣布事件為恐怖襲擊，認定其為自殺攻擊。這是自倫敦七七爆炸案以來英國死傷最慘重的恐怖襲擊，也是曼徹斯特自臨時派愛爾蘭共和軍1996年策動爆炸案以來的首起恐怖襲擊[12]。

傷亡

警方聲稱23人在爆炸中身亡，另有包括兒童在內59人受傷。死者包括襲擊者[13][14]。西北救護車服務（英語：North West Ambulance Service）派遣60輛救護車趕往現場，護送59人到當地醫院並在現場救治輕傷者[15]，傷者中有12人是16歲以下的兒童[16]。歌手格蘭德並未在事件中受傷[17]。

襲擊者

警方認定襲擊者是22歲的英國籍北非裔移民薩爾曼·拉馬丹·阿比迪（Salman Ramadan Abedi），他已引起情報部門注意[18][2]。1994年，他出生在曼徹斯特南部一個利比亞穆斯林家庭[18]，在華里區（英語：Whalley Range, Manchester）長大，住在法爾洛菲德（英語：Fallowfield）[19]。薩爾曼和他的弟兄常去迪玆伯里清真寺（英語：Didsbury Mosque）禮拜，有消息指他們的保安父親是該清真寺的常客[2][19]，但寺的禮拜者否認了這一說法，表示「我們不知道他是誰。我們都沒見過他[20] 。」

阿比迪加入黑幫，近年來變成激進分子。2015年，清真寺曾就支持反恐和生命尊嚴布告，阿比迪當時的抱怨震驚了負責人，且他在布告後繼續展現出「仇恨面目」[20]。

2014年，阿比迪就讀於索爾福德大學，學習工商管理，後被開除。父母於穆阿邁爾·格達費下台後回到利比亞[19]。

調查

阿貝迪在法爾洛菲德的住處成為警察調查的重點。武裝警察利用遙控炸藥破門進入房屋。阿貝迪23歲的哥哥伊斯梅爾在曼徹斯特南部喬爾頓旁哈迪（英語：Chorlton-cum-Hardy）被捕，他與襲擊案存在關聯[21][22]。警方還在曼徹斯特南部的另外兩個地點展開行動，並突襲了華里區的一個住址[22]，逮捕了三名可能是支援襲擊者「網絡」的人士[23]。

一位穆斯林社區工作人員報稱五年前他們曾警告過英國人，薩爾曼曾發表「聲援恐怖分子」的言論[24]。

聲稱他最近可能回過敘利亞的情報浮現後，情報機關試圖確定襲擊者是否單獨行事，還是恐怖主義網絡的成員[25][26]。法國內政部長熱拉德·科隆博（英語：Gérard Collomb）告訴法國電視台，薩爾曼從敘利亞回來，跟伊斯蘭國有「已證實的」聯繫。襲擊者的父親和他的弟弟於5月23日和24日分別被敘利亞當局逮捕。弟弟懷疑在敘利亞策劃襲擊，頻繁接觸薩爾曼並熟知曼徹斯特競技場爆炸案計劃[27]。

《紐約時報》發表的簡易爆炸裝置殘片圖片顯示炸彈的炸藥藏於輕量級金屬容器中，藏在黑色夾克衫或藍色凱瑞摩（英語：Karrimor）背包中。事發時大多數受害者就在襲擊者周圍。襲擊者身軀被爆炸的衝擊力掀翻，穿透了進入競技場的大門，暗示爆炸裝置可能藏於背包中，在爆炸時把他推向前。疑似手動引爆器的小型裝置也被發現[28]。

內政大臣安珀·路德表示她對阿貝迪的名字和其他交給美國和法國情報部門的絕密信息在案發數小時內在新聞媒體中洩露表示憤怒，這妨礙了調查工作，調查人員需要避免引起襲擊者共犯的警覺[29][30]。她要求美方不繼續洩露信息[30]。情報機構我行我素的官員的這種背叛行為被認為對國際調查行動即使取得成功極其不利，表明美國和法國行動安全的漏洞正不斷擴大。BBC報導稱：「英國政府和警察在美國報紙發布明顯展示曼徹斯特爆炸案現場的照片後表示憤怒。反恐警察主任表示洩露無形中摧毀了他們的調查行動及受害者目擊者的自信。白廳消息人士補充道：『我們深感憤怒，這種行為絕對不能接受[31]。』」

至於為何會挑上亞莉安娜的演唱會作為目標，不少專家認為她年紀輕輕就穿著清涼，許多歌詞中也不乏挑逗用句，和伊斯蘭教所提倡的女性觀點背道而馳，因此可能選中亞莉安娜的演唱會警告不守伊斯蘭規範的女性。

事後

第二天傍晚1點32分，警方在座堂花園發現可疑物品，出動爆炸控制小組[32]。後來據確認物品是遺留在現場的衣物[33]。

曼徹斯特居民和計程車公司透過Twitter向滯留在演唱會的民眾提供免費交通和住宿。事發後，許多父母和孩子在演唱會中走散。附近一家酒店向走失的兒童提供庇護，警方將父母們帶到酒店認領小孩[34]。

部分地處競技場下方曼徹斯特維多利亞站暫停服務，乘客被疏散，車站第二天繼續關閉[7][17]。

各界反應

英國國內

首相德蕾莎·梅伊稱事件是「駭人聽聞的恐怖襲擊」，並在第二天早上主持了民事緊急情況委員會（英語：Civil Contingencies Committee）[35]。

大曼徹斯特市市長（英語：Mayor of Greater Manchester）安迪·伯納姆稱事件是「邪惡的行為」，向幫助受害者的當地居民和企業致敬[36]。後來他宣布將於第二天晚上在阿爾伯特廣場舉行守夜儀式[37]。

各大黨派宣布暫停2017年英國大選競選活動[38][39]。

女王伊莉莎白二世向受這起「可怕事件」影響的人們表達她「最深切的同情」[40]。

政治專欄作家凱蒂·霍普金斯（英語：Katie Hopkins）事發後發表推特，稱需要尋找「最終解決方案」，而部分人認為她的這條推特有煽動對英國的穆斯林群體發動種族清洗的嫌疑，惹來非議。[41][42][43]

足球界

當地球會曼徹斯特聯足球俱樂部與荷蘭阿賈克斯在瑞典的2017年歐霸盃決賽開賽前，歐洲足球協會為此舉辦了默哀儀式，並在球場周邊加強安全防護措施，且比賽中，兩隊球員不約而同地繫上黑絲帶，表達對此事件罹難者的哀悼；在此之前，曼聯也對外聲明若順利奪冠將不舉辦慶祝遊行儀式[44]，此外，瑞典當地樂團Axwell Λ Ingrosso（英語：Axwell and Ingrosso）在獲知爆炸事件後，決議取消出席開幕演出，並透過聲明表示：「對我們而言，這不是演出的時機。」[45]而在曼聯於歐霸杯奪冠後，球會將獎盃獻給曼徹斯特市，與此同時，同城勁旅曼徹斯特城足球俱樂部亦與其聯手捐出一百萬英鎊作為救助基金，其關鍵字「#ACITYUNITED」（團結之城）[46]與相關圖文衍伸作品，在社交網路成為大話題[47]。

曼徹斯特城足球俱樂部隊總教練佩普·瓜迪奧拉在聽聞爆炸案事件後相當震驚，因為他的妻兒正好也參與了亞莉安娜當晚的演唱會，雖然事後得知妻兒安然無恙，不過因為該事件造成的傷亡，球團對於有關家庭的相關問題並未表態後續的意見[48]，但在事發當晚，主球場阿提哈德球場就被當地政府指定為緊急救難中心，協助安頓事件中的傷患者。

英格蘭足總盃總決賽開賽前夕，甫拿下英格蘭超級聯賽總冠軍，決賽球隊之一的切爾西足球俱樂部因應此一突發事件，而將原本預定要進行的奪冠遊街慶祝活動取消，並將原本預定作為慶祝的資源，投入救助與賑災行列[49]；另一決賽隊伍阿森納足球俱樂部，也基於安全因素，取消了原訂在自家主場酋長球場舉辦的直播活動[50]。

2017年歐洲冠軍聯賽決賽的決賽場地千禧球場，因為此一事件，成為首個非因音樂會與橄欖球賽而封閉頂棚的足球比賽[51]。

當事人亞莉安娜及唱片公司的反應

亞莉安娜本人在事發後幾小時於推特上寫道：「心都碎了。打從心底覺得遺憾，也不知應該說什麼了。」[52]唱片公司其後確定取消危險尤物世界巡迴歐洲場次演出，並讓亞莉安娜先返回美國佛羅里達州的家休息。翌日下午搭乘私人飛機抵佛州的亞莉安娜被媒體拍到神情憔悴，眼睛浮腫。事發後三天，亞莉安娜發表聲明願意支付所有遇難粉絲的喪葬費用和舉辦追思。唱片公司也宣布部分歐洲國家的演唱會及亞洲的巡迴照常舉行。亞莉安娜在5月27日宣佈會重返事故發生地英國曼徹斯特舉行公益演唱會One Love Manchester。5月30日宣佈在6月4日於老特拉福德板球場舉行公益演唱會[53]，共同演出的藝人包括凱蒂·佩芮、麥莉·希拉、酷玩樂團、小賈斯汀、亞瑟小子、奈爾·霍蘭、混合甜心、菲瑞·威廉斯、黑眼豆豆以及接招合唱團，所募得資金已超過 250 萬美元。
