簡歷

福斯托·切爾奇恩亞尼在義大利各大學教授德語、英語史，並在米蘭大學教授德國文學。[2][3]

他在英語學領域裡，以威廉·莎士比亞相關研究而聞名。[4]在這方面的代表作是：《莎士比亞作品與伊莉莎白一世時期的發音》（Shakespeare's Works and Elizabethan Pronunciation），由克拉倫登出版社在1981年出版。[5]
