约翰·诺曼（英语：John Norman，1931年6月3日—）是美国作家及哲学家小约翰·费德里克·朗格（英语：John Frederick Lange, Jr.）的笔名，以其作品Gor系列而闻名。其作品影响当代色情文学甚钜。

背景

朗格出生在美国伊利诺伊州芝加哥，并在此地度过幼年时光。

朗格的哲学学术生涯起源于1950年代初期；1953年，他自内布拉斯加大学或的文学学士学位，并在1957年自南加州大学获得艺术博士。他在1956年结婚，育有二子一女。

学术生涯

1963年，朗格自普林斯顿大学获得他的博士学位。他的毕业论文为“捍卫道德自然主义：对自然主义谬论的多方位观察，并对其中一问题的深入逻辑研究”。朗格日后在接受采访时说：“如果一个人自大自然中觉察每种形式的道德，那么他最后极有可能落入无道德的境地，并无法被社会接受；又或者，他的内心道德会被各家思想所拉扯，就譬如这个世界上百分之九十九的人都相信另外百分之九十九的人事无比的不干净、无知和愚蠢，这个想法，似乎也无法让人放心。”[1]

2012年，他是开始在纽约市立大学皇后学院执教[2]。

Gor次文化

Gor次文化是一个基于他Gor系列小说的一种同人文化[4][5]，但朗格没有参与其中。由于Gor系列书籍的影响，Gor次文化已经透过如第二人生和IRC影响了后来继起的角色扮演（RPG）和大型多人在线角色扮演（MMORPG）游戏。
