YouTube（舊稱YouTube聚光燈）是YouTube自辦的官方頻道。正如其舊稱的意思，該頻道用於聚焦YouTube上的影片和活動。獲得該頻道關注的活動包括YouTube喜劇週和YouTube音樂獎。此外，頻道會上傳《YouTube國度》和一年一度的YouTube年度回顧。
2013年11月2日，YouTube頻道暫時超越PewDiePie頻道，成為該站訂閱人數最多的頻道。新用戶註冊YouTube時，該頻道作為訂閱選項，透過自動建議和預選擇登上頭位[1]。2013年12月，該頻道與PewDiePie的榜首位置之爭激烈，直到12月22日被PewDiePie穩拿頭名。截至2020年8月4日，該頻道已贏得3060萬訂閱戶，影片被觀看22.9多億次[2]。

YouTube年度回顧
自2010年以來，YouTube透過聚光燈頻道發布一年一度的YouTube年度回顧視頻。2013年視頻在聚光燈頻道上的宣傳攻勢，幫助2013版節目僅在數小時內便被觀看100多萬次[3]。Google曾發表文章詳述2013年間的搜索引擎和人們在YouTube上看過的視頻，文中附上當年的回顧視頻[4]。
YouTube國度
《YouTube國度》（YouTube Nation）是YouTube與夢工廠動畫的合作項目，於2014年1月在其自有頻道上線[5]。夢工廠負責監督製作，YouTube管理節目的銷售和營銷[6]。該節目是集合聚光燈頻道信息的新聞系列[7]。YouTube也會透過聚光燈頻道推廣該節目。在它早期的歷史中，節目起用格雷斯·赫爾比希、漢娜·哈特和瑪姆麗·哈特嘉賓協助推廣節目及其觀眾[8]。
由於經常在聚光燈頻道上推廣，節目上線三個月內便邁入100萬訂閱用戶大關[9]。節目被提名為第4屆最佳播客獎的最佳新聞和時事節目獎，但最終輸給了SourceFed[10]。在播出350集後，節目於2014年12月5日收播[11]。
活動
主題週活動
2013年5月，聚光燈頻道用於流轉播由ChannelFlip製作的喜劇周活動。活動期間，YouTube利用主頁聚焦專門為活動製作的戲劇視頻[12]。兩小時首播儀式視頻截至2014年9月已獲得106萬次觀看[13]。活動獲得的評價好壞參半，傳統媒體和新媒體名人的特別融合以及技術難題被專門挑剔。活動是YouTube流轉播的首個喜劇節目[14]。儘管活動被宣傳為第一屆喜劇週活動，但往後的活動杳無音訊。
2013年8月4日，YouTube推出由美國華裔黃穀子和英國人Tomska創辦的「極客週」（Geek Week）[15][16]。該週由各個主題日組成，包括一鳴驚人星期天（Blockbuster Sunday）、全球極客星期一（Global Geekery Monday）、智囊團星期二（Brainiac Tuesday）、超級星期三（Super Wednesday）、遊戲星期四（Gaming Thursday）和粉絲星期五（Fan Friday）。活動由德斯特和ChannelFlip分別在美國和英國聯合推出[17][18]。

2013年同志驕傲月期間，頻道被用來關注同志及其相關資訊和視頻[19]。YouTube母公司谷歌被記載為同性戀冠軍[20]。YouTube官方博客發表了一篇跟活動有關的文章[21]。
YouTube音樂獎
2013年11月，YouTube舉辦首屆音樂獎頒獎典禮。各項提名提前一個月揭曉，頒獎典禮旨在透過社交媒體投票模式創造流量[22]。活動在聚光燈頻道上流轉播，截至2014年9月已獲得450多萬次播放[23]。活動的技術難題和主流藝人提名占大多數取代YouTube藝人成為口誅筆伐的焦點[24]。
