《决胜时空战区》（英语：Masters of the Universe）是一部1987年美国科幻动作片，由盖瑞·葛达执导，改编自美泰公司旗下的玩具《太空超人》。电影主演包括杜夫·朗格、法兰克·蓝吉拉、柯特妮·考克斯、占士·托根、克里斯汀娜·皮克勒斯和梅格·福斯特主演。《宇宙天王》于1987年8月7日在美国广泛上映。电影获得了普遍负评和失败的票房，但在之后成为了邪典电影[3]。

剧情

故事叙述主角太空超人和邪恶的幽灵王为了抢夺一把能操纵时间与空间的时空钥匙，双方就此展开毒网。

重启版

2007年，传出吴宇森将担任重启版的《太空超人》电影；尽管网络上有着关于制作和选角的传言，但该计划仍未正式启动，据传电影的版权已被美泰公司收回[4]。

2009年9月，索尼影业接管了华纳兄弟公司的真人改编权，而监制乔·西佛则因创作方向不一而退出[5]。索尼与Escape Artists的陶德·布莱克、杰森·布卢门撒尔、史蒂夫·提许开始随着哥伦比亚影业发展该电影。2010年4月，索尼聘请了编剧迈克·芬奇和亚里士·李维克编写一份新剧本[6]。后来，华纳兄弟打算让《功夫熊猫》的导演约翰·史蒂文森来执导。2009年5月12日，宣布剧本改由伊凡·多尔帝负责，史蒂文森仍为导演人选[7]。
