MALAT-1 (英語:metastasis associated lung adenocarcinoma transcript 1 的縮寫,也稱為NEAT2 ,noncoding nuclear-enriched abundant transcript 2 )是一個長鏈非編碼RNA 基因 ,表現於細胞核 ,在哺乳動物 中高度保守[ 3] 。MALAT-1參與調控細胞核的組織、mRNA的選擇性剪接 、DNA的表觀遺傳 修飾等細胞中的多種反應,可控制參與腫瘤遠端轉移 的基因表現[ 4] 。此RNA表現異常與糖尿病 與癌症 等多種疾病有關[ 5] [ 6] ,其高表現和多種癌症較差的存活率呈正相關[ 7] [ 8] 。
