毛果豬籠草(學名:Nepenthes×trichocarpa)是蘋果豬籠草(N. ampullaria)與小豬籠草(N. gracilis)的自然雜交種[2],曾被視為獨立物種。其種加詞「trichocarpa」來源於希臘文「trikho-」和「-carpus」,意為「帶毛的果實」。
在B·H·丹瑟1928發表的《荷屬東印度群島的豬籠草科植物》中提到了這一植物。他描述說,該植物具有圓柱形的攀援莖,下位籠為卵形。它的上位籠和下位籠可高達8厘米,寬為高的三分之一,可寬至4厘米。腹面具一對籠翼。[3]
捕蟲籠為綠色,上面有紅色或黃色的斑點或條紋。可以在森林的地面上形成類似蘋果豬籠草的地面籠,上位籠會攀附於灌木或喬木。[3]
毛果豬籠草分布於西馬來西亞、婆羅洲、新加坡以及印度尼西亞蘇門答臘島的低海拔地區,通常與其親本蘋果豬籠草與小豬籠草同域分布。[4][5][6][7][8]其亦分布於泰國南部[9]及大納土納島附近地區[10]。
