ParM是一種原核細胞骨架，是肌動蛋白在原核基因組中的同源物[1]。R1質粒中攜帶了ParM基因，可利用杆狀細菌的核糖體表達生成蛋白單體，其單體可結合到ParR上形成聚合體，聚合體能在細菌二分裂時將R1質粒固定到兩端，確保在子代細菌中都保留R1質粒[2]。
